We've enjoyed a great week at the beach!
There have been lots of smiles and giggles, running and playing...
until mean, mean, Irene came sweeping in this morning...
and took away our day on the beach!
It really isn't as bad as it looks - rainy periods and some wind, and even the sun has tried very hard to poke out every now and then. Cutting our beach trip back day isn't horrible either - we had a fun, full week! We do hope our friends along the eastern parts of NC and the Northeast stay safe and sound!
