Rewind!

I am behind on blogging, which makes sitting down to blog that much harder! So, let's rewind!

On November 24th Walker was 2 months old:

Walker was in the 50th percentile for weight (11lbs1oz) and length (23 1/4"). He is sleeping through the nights (has been since about 6.5 weeks), rolling over from tummy to back, smiling, cooing, and bringing us so much joy! We are so thankful for our little one! Which brings me to Thanksgiving...

We had a blast on Thanksgiving and Walker was a trooper - I think he was passed amongst 30+ family members! It was so much fun being with family members - pictured above are some of the cousins on my mom's side of the family! Thanksgiving is a time to ponder the many blessings we have - each day has been a day of thanksgiving since Walker's arrival!

After Thanksgiving, we prepared our home for Christmas. Walker is fascinated by the Christmas lights and we enjoyed his "coos" as we decorated the tree! At a time of hustle and bustle, I've had to stop and remember that this is a time to celebrate the birth of the Son that was sent to save us - again, I give thanks - and the hustle and bustle is quieted.

This past weekend was a blast! My high school friends got together to celebrate Meredith's baby boy...she looked radiant and it was so much fun to shower her over brunch. We had a lot of fun hanging out and catching up! Another fun thing from the weekend was Walker meeting Charlie (Meredith E.'s son) - we didn't get any pictures of them interacting, but I think they are going to be great buddies! So far they've already experienced a road trip, shopping, a baby shower, and lunch at the Wayside together :)

So that {kind of} sums up the past couple of weeks!
