We had a wonderful Sunday celebrating Walker's christening. It was great to be surrounded by friends and family, in our church - the same church we were married in, the same church my father and I were baptized in, and state aloud our promise to raise our child so that he loves and serves the Lord.
Walker wore a family gown - also worn by my sister and me, our cousins, and grandmother!
He was a happy baby and did awesome before, during, and after the ceremony. Maybe it helped that he slept 13 hours the night before ;)
We had friends and family over for lunch after the ceremony to celebrate. What a special and fun way to kick off the week of Christmas! We made cookies for our guests to take home - thanks aunt sissy for helping with this!
