Well, better late than never, right?!

We had a wonderful 2011 and we are excited for a new year!  Nothing like a good, fresh start!  We've enjoyed a quiet January - lots of time as a family in front of the fireplace, walks, family dinners, and time with friends.

Our best bud Clark turning 1!  Time flies and it feels like we were just meeting this sweet boy for the first time!  Happy Happy Clark!

Walker is quite the toddler these days and we are so in love with his personality.  He is becoming so much more engaged in activities, conversation, and play.  We are overcome with thankfulness for Walker!  Our favorite quotes of Walker are "Walker is cray-cray (crazy)" "oooh that's so yummy" "That's so silly"

and he has finally gotten "please" and "thank you" down and it is just about the sweetest thing to hear!

With the addition of a TV to our kitchen/den area, Walker is finally paying a little more attention to TV.  His favorite show is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and is just about the only thing he will ask for and watch.  So, mommy took Walker to get his first Mickey Mouse item, a stuffed "big mouse".  He goes everywhere with us.

And that about sums up January to this point!  The days are filled with lots of play...and work!
