It is hard to believe that two years ago Walker was born. We came home from the hospital and pretty much winged it (well I did have my copy of Babywise by my side)! Luckily he was a good sleeper and a happy baby. And so very cute! We held him and stared in awe. We loved when he would get to a new stage and loved watching him learn new things. The first giggles and babbles.
And then we blinked. And here we are (well this was Saturday, September 24th)...
Happy 2nd Birthday to Walker! We love you more than you will ever know!
Ahhh, to be a two year old and have sprinkles literally hanging from your chin!
At two, Walker is still sweeter than honey. He is a good eater, a good sleeper, loves trucks/trains/planes/motorcycles, loves to dance (and yes, he can fist pump, and yes mommy and daddy are proud), loves to be outside. Each day brings new words and new expressions. My favorite is "Walker needs treat". We all need treats, don't we?! Is it always sweet over here? No. However, his tantrums began earlier than most and I feel like they are not that often now...though, I don't say "no" as much as I should... how could you to this sweet face?
As if the train birthday wasn't enough, we decided to get Walker a train table for his birthday. Score! He squeals with delight each time he sees his "choo choo" table. It is just as enjoyable to watch him play and use his imagination...and to play along!
Our hearts are more than full. Happy, happy, happy Birthday to Walker!!!
