Hustle and Bustle

So December is here!

We are trying to navigate our way through the hustle and bustle and remain somewhat peaceful and stress-free during this time.  We are busy - right there with everyone else!  We had a fun weekend filled with Christmas cheer - an annual fundraiser dance on Friday night, visiting Santa Saturday, and then dinner and the Christmas symphony with friends on Saturday night. 

I'm trying to wrap up Needleworks for the year, Christmas shop, keep a decent house, and the list goes on and on.  I was trying to multi-task today and check emails on my phone while playing with Walker.  I thought it was working...but Walker came over to me, said "no mama, play with me" and took my cell phone away and placed it on the counter.  Good for him!

So, the emails can wait, the chores can wait, the Christmas shopping and Needleworks orders will eventually get done.  This time is about giving, sharing time with loved ones, and preparing for the birth of Jesus.  We are slowing down during this hustle and bustle!
